Ghanaian musician Nee Oseye Ade Leke, currently based in the USA, is speaking out about his frustration with Ghanaian awards schemes, which he feels have overlooked his contributions to the music industry. In a candid interview with Eddie Ray on Rainbow Radio, Nee Oseye expressed his disappointment and disillusionment with the nomination process, revealing that his songs, despite meeting the required criteria, have consistently been snubbed.

“I’m not sure what it is about my music that doesn’t make it to the nomination list,” he said, visibly frustrated. “I’ve filed for nominations in the Telecel Ghana Music Awards scheme multiple times, but nothing seems to work out.” Nee Oseye pointed out that his music receives significant airplay, has impressive digital numbers, and is widely recognized on the streets, making it even more puzzling why he has been ignored.
