Jomoro MP, Dorcas Affo-Toffey Allegedly Attacks Diasporans In East Legon (Video Drops)*

In a recent incident that happened at Evans Hotel, near Trasacco Valley, East Legon, member of parliament for Jomoro Constituency, Western Region is alleged to have been in a ferocious brawl with a diasporan family who came to Ghana for the Christmas holidays.
The victim, Olivia, an American giving her account on the incident, explains that Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey parked in a wrong spot at the hotel leaving little to no space for other patrons to park their cars. This attracted the security guard at post to confront the MP but he was met with series of insults and an order to back off.
Olivia further explains that they needed a space to park their car also so her boyfriend, who was in the car with her and her father decided to talk to Hon. Dorcas so she could do the needful. But he was equally met with more scorn and barbs. She (the MP) then ordered her bodyguard and a group of men and women she was with to beat them up and in the process got their car mangled at different spots and glasses cracked as well.
Olivia then added that she got hurt physically and her whole family are traumatized by the happenings. She lastly said she did not know the said woman was even a lawmaker until after the incident. She quizzed that if lawmakers are this lawless, who will fight for ordinary citizens?
Olivia shared that she has since reported the case to the police and hope due diligence will be done and the peppertrators be brought to book according to the law. She said the security camera of the hotel captured the whole event which corroborates with her story.
Minister of Jomoro Constituency, Western Region, Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey is yet to speak to the matter.

Shatana Claps Back at Afia Schwarzenegger: “We Use You as Tōílet Paper!” in Explosive Defense Video

The Ghanaian entertainment scene is once again buzzing with drama, this time pitting musician and philanthropist Shatana against outspoken media personality Afia Schwarzenegger in a heated clash rooted in cultural respect, tradition, and celebrity loyalty.
In a bold and unfiltered TikTok video that’s quickly making rounds, Shatana proudly identifying as a Ga native issued a sharp, cryptic warning to Afia Schwarzenegger. The message: steer clear of disrespecting Ga leaders or face consequences she “will not like”. To drive the point home with dramatic flair, Shatana appeared on camera holding a roll of toilet paper emblazoned with the words “Afia Schwar Fool”. The video’s on-screen captions read:
– “We Ga people use Afia Schwar as our toilet paper… We no dey see her sef”
– “Afia if you insult Ga kings again, ego over u, this is just the intro”
The fiery post appears to be a direct retaliation to Afia’s recent outburst against Ga traditional authorities. The controversy traces back to the burial of legendary highlife musician Daddy Lumba (DL), who reportedly passed away and was laid to rest at his home in Accra (East Legon area, according to circulating reports). Ga leaders publicly expressed outrage, arguing that proper protocols were not followed and no prior notification or consultation with them as custodians of the land. In line with Ga customs and spiritual beliefs, they claimed such an unauthorized burial on ancestral or communal land invites bad omens, curses, or spiritual imbalance. They demanded the body be exhumed and potentially reinterred only after necessary rituals, pacifications, and appeasements to the gods and ancestors.
Afia Schwarzenegger, a well-known die-hard fan of Daddy Lumba and vocal defender of his legacy, did not take this lightly. She went live and on social media platforms lambasting the Ga leaders, dismissing their demands as outdated, threatening, or even legally questionable, while passionately protecting what she sees as the artist’s final wishes and dignity.
Shatana, who also hailing from the Ga community stepped in to defend her people’s traditions and chieftaincy. Framing Afia’s comments as an unacceptable insult to Ga kings and elders, Shatana’s video serves as both a personal clapback and a broader cultural statement: outsiders (or even those not showing proper deference) should tread carefully when criticizing sacred customs.
As of now, Afia Schwarzenegger is yet to publicly respond to Shatana’s provocative warning, leaving fans and social media users speculating on whether this feud will escalate into more direct exchanges, diss tracks, or perhaps a surprising reconciliation.
This saga highlights the ongoing tension in Ghana between modern celebrity culture, fan loyalty, personal freedoms, and deep-rooted traditional values especially when icons like Daddy Lumba are involved. The video has sparked widespread debate about respect for culture versus individual rights in mourning and burial decisions.

Ruling in Favour of Odo Broni Will Be a Scam” – Shatana Warns Judiciary Over Daddy Lumba Marriage Brouhaha

Talented Ghanaian songstress Shatana. who is also the sister of the late music icon Terry Bonchaka.has waded into the ongoing public debate surrounding the marital issues of legendary Highlife musician Daddy Lumba.
The controversy centres on Lumba’s Germany–based legal wife, Akosua Serwaa and a woman popularly known as Odo Broni, who has been described by many as a “side chick.
In a strongly worded message shared via a video on social media, Shatana declared her firm support for Akosua Serwaa, insisting that she is the only legitimate wife of Daddy Lumba.
According to her, any attempt by the courts to recognize Odo Broni over the legal wife will amount to what she described as *“a scam by the judiciary.”
She argued that the judiciary risks losing credibility if they hand a ruling that favours the side chick in a matter that she believes is straightforward.
“If the court rules in favour of Odo Broni, then it means they are empowering side chicks over legal wives. And trust me, legal wives across the country will demonstrate because this will be a dangerous precedent,” Shatana cautioned.
Shatana further emphasized that supporting a legally married spouse is crucial in maintaining social and moral order.
She noted that rewarding a side chick with recognition or authority equal to that of a wife would be “unacceptable” and a direct attack on the dignity of marriage.
She urged the public and women’s groups to stand with Akosua Serwaa, insisting that justice must protect the sanctity of marriage and not “legitimize immorality.”
