Shatana Drops Fresh Visuals Of Controversial “Lipo Lipo” Song
The queen of conscious music in Ghana, Shatana has released the visuals of her much anticipated song, “Lipo Lipo”. “Lipo Lipo” which is a fancy way of referring to the term, “Liposuction” which is the technique in cosmetic surgery for removing excess fat from under the skin by suction. The excess fat is mostly infused to the butts to make them bigger.
This practice has been the order of the day where even celebrities are involved and normalizing it . This in turn is psyching the youth to get involved with the act . Shatana as a musician and social vigilante released “Lipo Lipo” to counteract the routine which is fast becoming normal in the society. She enlightened the effects of the procedure, and touched on the pride of staying natural and the confidence it carries.
Owing to the didactic nature of the song, it garnered massive airplays on radio spaces. This informed Shatana’s team to get a video done, which they did. The music video adores culture and purity, the virtue of staying original and default was strongly advocated in the video. Also, art was a tool that was colourfully displayed to reverence the artiste’s stand or believe on the subject matter.

A 28-year-old man has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment in hard labour for robbing a trader of her ice cream.
The convict, Simon Blay, who is a tiler pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced on his own plea.
He was sentenced by the Asante Bekwai circuit court presided over by Mark Tair-ima Diboro in the Ashanti region.
Prosecuting Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Ofori told the court that Sarah Ofori and Blay were neighbours at Feyiase.
He said on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at about 2:00 pm, Sarah was going about her normal business when Blay called her under the pretext of buying some of the ice creams.
He said the convict took advantage of the quiet nature of the area and with a pair of scissors, robbed the ice-cream seller of her items, a purse containing a cell phone, GH¢25, all valued at GH¢112.
According to him, Blay took to his heels after the robbery adding that Sarah made a formal complaint with the Feyiase police.
He stated that residents in the area upon hearing the incident arrested Blay and handed him over to the police.
A search on the convict revealed the stolen cell phone, which he had fixed his SIM card in, instead of Sarah’s card and after admitting to the crime, he led the police to his house and they found Sarah’s sim card in his room during a search.
He said that the convict was standing trial with others for alleged unlawful entry and theft of a 17 inches television set.
He said Blay committed the robbery right after he was granted bail by the court in the stealing case.

A 47-year-old lotto agent by the name Kwame Adinkra has been remanded in police custody for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl.
The alleged act occurred at Tutuka Tiatiaso, a suburb of Obuasi.
Mr Adinkra is said to have inserted his penis in the victim’s vagina and anus several times.
The mother of the victim, Doris Botchey, said the child for some time now, kept falling sick and it was through medical examinations they found out she had been defiled.
Speaking to Adom News‘ correspondent, Isaac K. Normanyo, the victim said her silence was borne out of fear that she may die after being warned by her rapist.
Chief Inspector, Josephine Adom, the Obuasi Divisional DOVVSU station officer, who confirmed the incident said the father has reported the case.
The doctor’s report confirmed defilement after which the suspect was arrest and arraigned before court.
He is set to reappear in two weeks’ time.
Residents who are in shock have called for a thorough investigation into the matter and also for the police to ascertain if there have been other victims.
