advocate, Shatana, has paid a moving tribute to her father, Mr. Kpakpo Akrong, in celebration of Father’s Day, honouring his significant contributions to Ghana’s media landscape.

In a heartfelt social media post, Shatana proudly revealed that her father was not only a former Director of Ghana Television (GTV) but also the designer of the iconic GTV logo, a symbol that remains a prominent part of Ghana’s broadcasting identity.

“Happy Father’s Day, Daddy. Your legacy stands forever. We love you, and Ghana is proud of you,”she wrote, accompanied by emojis of love and the national flag. The post quickly gained attention, with fans and media professionals alike commending her for shining a light on a man whose work continues to impact millions of Ghanaians.
