A Potential Vgma23 Unsung Nominee, Currie The Music Goddess Releases Her New Jam ‘Our Day’
The Music Goddess, Currie‘s journey last year was one of a marvel. She released her Journey EP which won the hearts of many music lovers across the globe. Her vocal dexterity has her works being compared with that of Ghana’s multi award winning vocal queen, Efya. It was of no wonder when she won the award for overall best vocalist of the year at the Ashanti Region Music Awards 21.
It will be quite prudent if she is acknowledged as the VGMA23 Unsung Art of the year for all the hardwork and energy she put in last year.
Currie‘s new release, ‘Our Day’ is a rendition of a playground song that is popular amongst school children in Ghana. Paradoxically, the song is a recap of the singer’s story from nothingness into greatness.
