RAY BLAZE BIO

Born in Nigeria into a musically gifted family, Oloriegbe Emmanuel a.k.a. Ray Blaze, started singing in the local church choir at the tender age of 7. It didn’t take long for people to discover the beautiful voice this your youngster was gifted with.

Being surrounded by inspiring musicians, and a supportive family stimulated him to use the experience he gained in the church choir to further explore his vocal skills. Not wanting to rush into anything, he took the time to acquire a very broad range of vocal skills.

Ray Blaze made music his life goal and started playing the drums with his little cousin, who – at this moment – is a multi-talented instrumentalist. When he was just 16 he taught himself how to play the piano and started focusing even more on his first passion: singing.

After concluding his college education in Nigeria he relocated to Belgium in April 2005, to join his family. Realizing the gift of having a third octave high pitch range voice, he practiced on an advanced level for 3 years and then felt ready to blow up the industry with his own unique style of writing, his captivating melodies, harmonies and adlibs.
Ray Blaze is more than your average Pop or R&B singer. He is a Singer, Songwriter and Producer. His Genre of music can be categorized as Afrocentric/Pop/R&B.

Collaborations

The name Ray Blaze didn’t stay a secret in the Belgian urban scene for long. Soon some of the industries finest became very much interested to work with this multi-talented artist, and/to upgrade their music with his skills.

Ray Blaze has done collaborations and Concerts with a host of other Artists such as the Rwandese top female artist Knowles, Sandrine (Belgium), Flavour N’Abania (Nigeria), Chameleon (Uganda) Asaiah (C.E.O of Hot Track Ent.), J.R, Noa (K2 zoekt K3) Lunaman (Belgium) Eros Sergent (Belgium) Gift R. (Belgium), Davido (Nigeria), and a lot more has collaborated with Ray Blaze both on Music Productions and or concerts and still collaborates or works with Ray Blaze, whether it was to write some lyrics or music Production Ray Blaze is always at his finest.

Projects

He also continues to have solo projects, of which he went ahead to release singles like ‘Life na jè jè’, ‘Love Mental’ which was aired on MTV base.

After spending most of his time working on other projects, Ray Blaze is in the studio right now, working on his own solo projects with over 20 unreleased songs to his name and his latest project is his upcoming Album with the Hit single “You Go Wound” Which he released under His New Record Label XLNC Entertainments.

He’s taking it back to his roots, putting all of his talent, skills and experience to work. Upon the release of the much anticipated Single, “You Go Wound.” The urban scene will never be the same again.

Ray Blaze was nominated in 2012 and won the Best Music Collaborations at the Afro European Music Award in Belgium.

In 2014 he released Fine Girls featuring Ghanian artist D Cryme and also released a song with Nigeria Idol winner Monicah Ogah which they tittle Carry and went on performing in different shows he headlined aswell as opening for different acts.
In 2018 Ray Blaze was shot which kept him down for a while but still he never stopped doing what he does best so he put his skills as a sound engineer to worn and starter mixing for lots of other artist as well as featuring on songs of other artists.
