Although Ghana Sleeps On Budukusu, He Is Ready For The International Front – Big Shaq Laments
Legendary Radio Personality, Big Shaq Attacker has iterated that although the Ghanaian music space has ignored the relevancy and rebirth of Budukusu formerly known as Qwaata, the latter is aggressively marching his brand to meet a global standard.
DJ Big Shaq made the utterance on his much revered entertainment show, “Oseikrom Anigyee” on Abusua 96.5 FM, Kumasi. Big Shaq Attacker registered his displeasure on the issue that Ghanaians retire their musicians too early.
He illustrated how Qwaata, now Budukusu has metamorphosed into one fine quality embedded artiste with good international songs but the media space is giving him no or little attention, although he (Budukusu) is getting bigger music deals from foreigners.
He prayed the media to keenly observe new works of old artistes and support them instead of forcefully retiring them.
