Appointment of the EC chair should be subjected to parliamentary approval- Minister Designate for parliamentary Affairs.
Osei Kyei Mensah- Bonsu, Minister- Designate for parliamentary Affairs says the appointment of the EC chairs should be subjected to parliamentary approval.
He said, his task is very important and must be approved by two-thirds of members of parliament, this will make the president be consultative in selecting the commissioner of the electoral body.
The NDC is currently undermming the Ec at court just as the Npp did against Charlotte Osei, both parties are guilty he said.
Mr Mensa Bonsu hinted that, there should be a solution out to depart from these attacks since it would not help in the progress of the contry.
